It's pretty obvious that as the line continues to move upward it won't be long until health care spending as a percentage of GDP will crowd out more and more of the goods and services that we've come to enjoy. That includes some things that death-panelists and Glenn Beck supporters seem to think are rightfully theirs.
Have fun with that health insurance that you currently have, folks. If this trend continues, it will be the only thing you have left. And I wouldn't bet on maintaining that insurance much longer. You'll get sick sooner or later, and your insurance company will find a way to dump you, too.
