Via Neatorama, a truly freaky story of a man who underwent surgery for a suspected lung tumor, only to find there was a tree growing in there.
I know. Gobsmacked!
When cutting into the growth to take a biopsy, doctors noticed little green needles inside. Since those don't typically occur in cancerous tumors, the crack surgeons did some investigating and determined that it was the beginning of an actual family tree.
That should be a lesson to all of us - don't sniff the shrubbery. The doctors removed the offending limb, officially making them tree surgeons.
It's Not a Tumah! It's a Tree!
