Microsoft's April 2009 Security Bulletin

Microsoft has released their advanced notification for their April 2009 security bulletin that details a plethora of critical patches heading our way.

Redmond advised that there will be eight (count 'em) patches, 5 of them rated as Critical. The good news is that the lingering Excel vulnerability appears to be remediated in the upcoming batch of fixes.

Windows, Excel, Internet Explorer (of course), and the enterprise ISA Server firewall product all have flaws to be addressed, so it should make for a very interesting Tuesday.

Make sure you've cleared some time next week to begin testing these fixes in your dev and QA environments prior to deploying to production. You don't want to break anything important. Do you?
