If you've grown less than comfortable with Ohio being one of the key battleground states in the last couple of presidential elections, and with Nov. 4 looming large as yet another opportunity for Ohioians to decide the nation's future, then you'll be pleased to know this bit of trivia.
In 1995, Bowling Green, Ohio, student Robert Ricketts, 19, had his head bloodied when he was struck by a Conrail train. According to the Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune, he told police he was trying to see how close to the moving train he could place his head without getting hit.
Feel better now?
