Here's how you know that you've got an uphill battle in store to make your life as a married couple successful. The following scenario played out in a small town in Michigan.

After the wedding ceremony, the party got a little out of hand, which resulted in the tiny town's sole police office making a visit to ask everyone to calm down. Things deteriorated from there, resulting in officers from 14 small police departments responding to the call for backup.

The groom apparently escaped from the restraint of his friends and made a beeline for the officers, and his new spouse interfered, so when police tasered him, his wife received a contact buzz, leaving both of them on the floor. Several party-goers spent the night in local jail cells, including the married couple.

My wedding night didn't end with me in a cold jail cell next to a crystal meth addled psycho named Snake. Perhaps that's the secret to my wonderful marriage.
