The Alaska Supreme Court has refused to halt the "Troopergate" investigation into Gov. Sarah Palin's dismissal of the state's police chief. This means that the investigator's report will be released tomorrow, as scheduled.
That sound you heard was McCain and Palin's butt holes slamming shut.
