Review: Taking On The System

I wrote a couple of weeks ago about a book I had picked up (and subsequently read in about six hours) called Taking on the System, by Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, well known for starting the Daily Kos blog.

Narco News (yeah, I know, don't get me started) has a pretty good review of the book. It provides some background on Markos for those who need it, but it also goes into some decent depth on the book itself, the concepts behind the words, and where this approach fits into the current socio-economic/political/media narrative.

I'll say it again - if, like me, you're concerned about what the future might hold for your children and grandchildren, but you believe that one person can't make a difference against the influences and powers in control today, either buy a copy online or read it at a library, borrow my copy, whatever it takes. The stakes are too high to do nothing.
