Saint Elizabeth Edwards?

Elizabeth Edwards turns out to be smart, funny, opinionated, and unafraid.

What a bitch.

If she was a man, she would be next in line to run General Electric.

Data Shows Men Are Cowards

It's said that data can be manipulated to support just about any angle of a story.

A study of 515 patients who received a diagnosis of a brain tumor or multiple sclerosis between 2001 and 2006 revealed that women given such news were seven times more likely to end up separated or divorced than men who received the same diagnosis.

Hmmm, looking for angles here...

The only one that keeps popping up is that women stick by men during times of medical crisis, while men run for the hills.

Perhaps we should ask Newt Gingrich and John Edwards to weigh in.

Nancy Pelosi Responds to Sexist NRCC

I'm sure the National Republic Campaign Committee didn't anticipate being eviscerated by a fashionable grandmother with balls of steel when they suggested that General Stanley McChrystal should "put her in her place" over her comments on Afghanistan.

Pelosi's response?

It’s really sad that they really don’t understand how inappropriate that is. I’m in my place. I’m the speaker of the House — the first woman speaker of the House. And I’m in my place because the House of Representatives voted me there.

Ka-POW, you pompous Republican windbags.
